I had several of the early models.
I am on my fourth. They don't seem to crash like they used to.
I got the extended warranty (knowing MS's history and that we were dealing with a brand new piece of technology). MS then extended the standard warranty, so mine is covered until August of 2009.
Could be that it's just that my gamer tag alone is enough to wreck a system.

I'm on my 5th box in 2 years. It'll be 6 when I send this newest China Syndrom unit back.
Wait until MS sees that this unit, that just got here about 1 month ago, is going back. Why don't they just replace them with the brand new units with the latest cdrom and chip set? |
