My club is having some fun with this topic, so I thought I'd throw it out here for the BadWebbers as well. Basically, we're recounting experiences that would normally end with "...don't ask me how I know." For example, my two contributions were:

1) The tip over protection bars on the BMW K1200LT really work well. Don't ask me how I know.

2) The Honda CB750K has an arrow on the fuel valve that points in the OPPOSITE direction from the valve itself. You are supposed to line up the arrow and NOT the valve to the settings for "On," "Off," and "Reserve." Don't ask me how I know...

Have some fun!

One should be careful when applying Flexall 454 to the upper thigh for hamstring pulls and it should NEVER be used for groin pulls.

The hex on a ~$25 Buell clutch cable that you just received in the mail from DaveS, and which is the only thing preventing you from getting your new-to-you S3 on the road will snap RIGHT off if you tighten it just a little too tight, requiring you to spend another $25 plus shipping and wait another week before you ride your bike for the first time.

Don't ask my how I know...

Having way too much vitamin C can be a bad thing.

On the same note, eating way too many of those sugar free gummies is also a bad thing.

Scientist type friends with an access to phenolphthalein should not be trusted around your coffee.

Never trust a hydraulic jack to keep your bike off the ground with both wheels taken off.

"Don't ask..."

However... if anyone needs to know how to get wheels back on a bike after it has fallen off its stand (stupid hydraulic jack), ask away.

I was so upset at the jack, I disassembled it down to it's smallest components, kept the fasteners for my Magic Fastener Box, and threw it's dismembered parts away in separate garbage cans.

Do not eat two pounds of pistatio nuts in one sitting.

A Spide-Man helmet from the UK can crack a Ultra's fork leg right in half.

With a concusion it is still possible to pass a final exam with a B.

Do not consume a huge ice cream float made with non-fat ice cream and diet root beer, because it'll make you sick as a dog.

Do not do it again the next day.

While driving about 75 mph in POOOR visibility in your BRAND NEW Dodge Charger RT, dont second guess if you JUST saw a semi tire in laying in the road in front of you.

Then as you hit it .... and the ASS end of the car comes off the ground... think to yourself that it MAY not be THAT bad... : (

Scientists have found a new STD. Apparently its been around for years, they have finally given it a name-K.I.D.S.

It is possible to lock up the rear brake on a 700 lbs Suzuki M109R, swing the ass end way out with smoke pouring off the rear wheel through a turn trying to avoid a dirtbike stopped across your lane and keep both feet on the pegs the whole time while not only having it look "awesome" to the riders behind you but also keep from dumping the bike.

Your heel will also touch the ground much faster on said M109R than it will on any Buell.

Don't ask how I know.
