That's what we call you behind your back... way back, about a quarter mile behind you.

To those interested,

I will probably do my normal run with the idiots in the am, come back to the tent an take a short nap. It worked for me at MBIV and Buelltoberfest.

In the early afternoon I would be willing to lead a contingent of riders "not on the edge" so to speak. Rather a group ride for folks interested in actually seeing some of the surrounding area. Mebby run "the loop" and a cruise up blood mountain etc. I'm talking about the riders that have perhaps been concerned about keeping up or pushing beyond, a safer place where the elderly and beginners can have a nice ride, as well as those interested in riding without "dragging" or feeling the need to pass on double lines.

If any one is interested let me know. It won't be boring unless you wear knee sliders and have used up a rear tire in less than 3000 miles.

Pretty much leaves the 3%ers out.

Yeah I know, but I have seen several riders that are suffering from toofastitus and I have no problem allowing time for showing them a good time in the area.

If you don't want to admit being skeerd you can PM me. It will be a secret from those not needing to know. Or if the knee draggers go out and you aren't feeling comfortable with their pace we will form up and leave a little later.

I'll be riding the "pace" based on whom ever wants to go. I do like a 'spirited ride', but like I said I can get enough of that on one loop with the 3%ers.

One of the best ways to hold a group ride is to set the Group Ride Rule.
Group Ride Rule #1 Everyone make sure you can see the rider behind you in your rear view.
This way everyone rides within the slowest pace rider.
It's a good rule to follow.

What y'all have been talking about is one reason I don't ride in groups larger than 5, me being the fifth rider.

Remember, if you go down, it ruins everyone's day, please ride within what you feel most comfortable. There's no need to push anything.

I think I should be last! No one likes my assless chaps, so I don't want anybody behind me to get distracted....
I think I'm going to put knee sliders on them....

I bet that would get some WTF looks...

That's my mode when I'm out there. Sightseeing rides in the morning with old friends and showing new riders the 'loop' at a moderate pace, then hook up for a hoe-down.

Then an evening of bench racing around the bonfire... that's when I'm really the fastest.

We're bench racing at the first opportunity : ) I, too, am MotoGP material during bench racing sessions!

Wolf, please tell me you have started wearing pants under those chaps! A G-string or less is just not pretty!
