A good friend of mine it trying to win a contest involving the top food blogs in the nation. You see her blog here: http://expatriateskitchen.blogspot.com/

I know that this is not motorcycle related but here the best reasons I can come up with for rallying the BadWeb to her aid and helping her win this contest:
1. She passed the MSF rider's course when she was two months pregnant.
2. Her husband rides a 1998 Triumph TBird Sport
3. They invite us over often to partake in many of the recipies that she's working on (we bring wine).
4. She once insisted that we eat a birthday cake she made for me with our hands (how cool is that!?!)
5. She has no built-in bias against okra
6. I have never seen her prepare okra

If you're willing, please go to this website: http://2007.weblogawards.org/polls/best-food-blog- 1.php

and vote for The Expatriate's Kitchen. You can vote once a day and voting closes tomorrow night, so if you vote now, you'll be able to vote twice.

I promise to report how it turns out, and if she wins, I'll invite her to come to the BadWeb and post her favorite okra recipie.

Thanks for you help!

You're on to me. I was trying to appeal to both camps so that everyone would vote.

Mr_Grumpy,

Your answer below.

"Was an expat in the Caribbean when I worked as a shark wrangler. An American in Paradise. Now, I am just an ordinary working mom who finally grew roots to the local food scene."
