I made my first modification to my (new to me)'99 S3T. After too many times of looking down and realising that my turn signals have been blinking for the last 2 miles I found a solution. The problem for me was the color and dimness of the existing indicator lights just don't register on my awarness meter. So I bought these nifty little blue led license plate bolts off e-bay, and installed them into the dash right in front of my face, wired into the existing indicators. These suckers are BRIGHT BLUE and I will never leave my turn signals on again. But really, what this post is about is how doing that one little thing made this bike feel like MY bike, I am now at one with her. I don't know why this did it, I have already done oil changes, tire changes, seat changes, but doing this little thing of drilling holes into the dash is what made the difference.

Be careful...making it your own can become a serious addiction.

Um, don't your turn signals self-cancel like the S2?

Just remember you are always $500 away from your bike being totally done.
