Beware what you wish for.

Tapping into the pure, unadulterated imagination of Bad Web has driven more than a couple of sponsors mad.

Sometimes, the darkness gets inside you.

not too good when my job is commission based

Good luck RAHsevens! But you need to offer the WHOLE package with a name like XBLights.com I mean, all you offer are tail lights, which,i saw,and really like the integrated signal ones.

One suggestion please contact Steve_Mackay and try a collaboration on his XBr headlight re-engineering job.You could save him the cost of sponsorship and help provide us XBr owners the corrective action we so DESPERATELY need! Helpp...please

Has to meet European construction & use regulations, then it'll get an "E mark", that's a capital E in a circle followed by a code number.
One of the great problems importing vehicles into Europe is getting glass & lights to Euro standard.
Testing agencies & arsy coppers WILL enforce!
If you ride with, say a pair of non-homolated indicators, it's an offence for which you can be fined, & if you're unfortunate enough to have an accident where lighting is a contributary factor, it can invalidate your insurance claim in extreme circumstances.
If, like many small manufacturers, you're not going for E certification, I'd advise you to do what all the others do for the market here, put a disclaimer on the product that says not legal for road use, just to cover your own arse.

Well the some of the lenses have the E with a circle and a number. Do they tear it apart and look at the internals? Or are they concerned with just the lens like they are here in USA?

If it's got the E mark lens, that'll be ok I've not yet seen em strip one out.
It's a favourite thing for the cops here, if they want to give you grief, to go over the bike special attention to lights, mirrors & exhausts.

I'm going to need a new rear light for my M2 resurrection project, early next year, would be cool to have a LED unit.

Rah7's,
The tail light assembly for an X1 & M2 are "almost" identical. The only difference beint the license plate light. I can send you an M2 for "mock up" purposeses if that'll help your business (Us Tuber guys are ALWAYS looking for more accessories!). I'd be interested in doing 3 bikes at once after you have the tube frames down (X1, M2 & XB9SX)

I just love all the progress in the LED design. 35 years ago I did a high-school electronics paper on LEDs. I just didn't figure that it would take this long to get to the point where we are now.

My Uly needs more lights pointing forward, not backward. How about some LED headlights.

I do want to get some of those High powered LED's to play with, but I doubt it will go very far. we will see.

Iamike

-Wow, I can only imagine how the technology was 35 years back. Did they look the same?
