Well guys, a heck of a lot has been happening! I started back to school pursuing an offbeat degree, now the airline has offered us a chance to head back to the Northwest. Sammie is all for it as the humidity here chases her inside more days than not. With that being said, the XB is for sale (in the classifieds) and by March, we'll be living in Bellingham, Washington. The house is going on the market within the next few weeks as well. I am sure I'll buy another bike after we get settled in up there, and I am sure it'll be good old American Iron of some kind. Things just haven't been the same for me and the XB since the wreck. Anyhoo.. I'll still lurk in and out of here.
Take care...and thanks once again to all of you who came along to help me through the hard times last year.

Nick

Thanks for all the well wishes! I actually ran an avionics shop in Bellingham for a short time. Sammie and I both loved that part of the country. It is indeed beautiful.

You bet, Steve. I'll keep in touch. The degree I was pursuing was in photography and film, the true second love of my life. Now, I'll just be closer to those "creative types" in Seattle!

Thanks again!
Nick

I'm glad to hear from you, sad about the bike deal and thrilled for you and Sammy.

My guess is that whatever you do will be fun and exciting . . . that type of stuff happens to nice folks.

All the best,
Court

Terribletim: Right now it is looking like Sudden Valley area or Bellingham proper. I'll keep in touch. Once we get settled in, I will pop back in here and let everyone know we made it. News today is that we may be moving sooner than later.

T9: Yeah, but it's not like breathing through a sock soaked in hot water!

Thanks Court!

Lions: I lived in Washington for a while in the Port Townsend area. It rained every day from January to March. It took some getting used to, but the culture and lifestyle in that area was much more friendly to our way of life.

I hope that the move goes well for you and your wife.

Going back to school isn't easy, but it is doable (I'm doing it right now myself)

That's why I said it! Know a few very aggrivated bikers that live up that way... even having trouble keeping the rust off...

You've lived there before so you know what it's like.
Have a good move and check back in once you get settled.
