at this point, James Gang is in 3rd. Very early yet. Don't know what's going on w/ Richie Morris Racing. They're down a lot of laps. Bike problems I assume. I wish all the Buell teams there the best of luck!

James Gang 3rd in their class, 12th overall in the race. Way to go guys!!
Look who they were up against. Polen or Russell ring a bell?

Thanks Rocco!
I'm surprised how far down Richie Morris was. I'm also assuming it's bike problems.

Congrats to James Gang!

Polen's bike had a clutch replaced with about 20 minutes left, but James Gang wasn't quite close enough to get second. Morris lost a chain somewhere in the middle of the race, yes they did recover.

Towards the end of the race, the BMW was involved in a "racing incedent". They pitted, and tore the right hand headlight off the bike (a PIAA unit, they were running two) since it was damaged.

A little while after that, the left hand light fell off too. So they maintained their position with no headlights for about the last hour of the race....

There were ALOT of problems, very few teams made it thru without issues.

It should be noted though that the James Gang team finished on the podium, even though the bike did some landscaping in the middle of the event. Without that event, they would have finished even higher.
