Some time ago, I saw a series of pictures showing the sequence of a guy dropping the clutch and looping his bike off the line trying to launch at the drag strip. Anyone have those pics or a link to them? I can't find the right search terms to find them here.

The correct search terms were "pop" and "clutch" : )

you want to know the story of that pic.

That guy happens to be a porter that worked at American H-D. The dealer I used to work at.

That was our demo bike, so He took said demo without asking. Went home got his leathers and took it to Milan for Wednesday night test and tune.

We were looking all over for the demo, because I had a few people lined up to ride one, this was back when you could win a trip to the Dragon and you got the free t-shirt.

We got a call a few hours before close saying he needed to be picked up cause he crashed the demo.

Needless to say he paid for all the repairs.

>>>rev it to 4 grand and dump the clutch? Some folks think so.

I recall someone suggesting that once and thinking . . . . "uhhhhhhh, that don't sound so smartish".

Even as a construction worker it's not tough to work the intuitive mental force, mass, lever arm, oh shit equation.

Ooooops

Hell yeah, what better way to sell P&A. GO ride this sweet race kitted XB then I'll start a stocker or even let them demo a stock XB. The things sell them selves at that point.

I demoed an XB9R with the Race Kit.
I refused to pick up my new XB9S until the kit was installed on my bike.

Cochise has experience doing something similar. Unfortunately no one with a camera captured it.

Blake,

I never knew. In fact I would have never known of said trick riding had it not been for my keen investigating(nibshittin') skills. I did offer to make him a set of wheelie bars though.

Find those pictures, I wanna see 'em!
