For you and me it doesn't (I ride year-round, typically), but forecast does matter when we have strangers and wannabes coming along, trying to keep up. There are guys I've seen (from this board)who make me queasy enough on dry roads when they try to keep up, who i don't want to lose on this run. To me, losing participants is a bad thing, and I don't relish the idea of someone high-siding on a run that I'm involved in planning. Someone else's run, i could give two sh*ts.... That's why we're having more than one 'pack', this year. It could be a snowstorm and below zero, and I know several locals (on this board) I can count on joining me in slicing the asphalt, along with some NEBOs and jersey boys, as well.} (Message edited by tramp on October 15, 2007) | ||

Don, good to hear from you and nice to see that you will be on the run. Will be first time back on a bike after the crash (and not my bike) so nerves and fear of crashing someone elses bike will most likely tone things down for me. | ||

gomo, which bike will you be on? the buell or the dresser? Depends on if the ole Buell mule is cranky in the am.
