Anybody know of a trustworthy source to get valves made? Not for a Buell, by the way.

Huh. This seems to be uncharted territory here and on another forum.

Let's try a different approach: does anyone have any experience with Ferrea Valves and Racing Components?

Pretty well trusted in the auto drag racing world. I'm not sure about any kind of endurance or NASCAR type applications.
What are you using them in / for ?

FZR valves. The FZR intake valves "tulip" so to speak, or tighten up, and finally reach a point where the engine loses compression (sometimes in as little as 15K miles.) I've gone to the slimmest valve shims I feel good about, and so now I want new valves. Ferrea will make them out of my choice of three materials, as long as I provide specs. This won't be exactly cheap, since I figure I might as well get some exhaust valves too, and I was hoping for some sort of feedback about them, or about some other company that may be recommended to me.

I don't want OEM valves, because I ride a LOT of miles on my Saturdays, and would have to replace them yearly. Also, I've been wanting for years to do a track day, and this is the bike I'll be taking. This kind of high mileage/hard usage combo would be a quick death, I think, for the stock items.
