Hi all, I just recently picked up an 05 XB12S and am looking for a good dealership in my area, in case I need parts or what not.

Anyways I stopped by Barbs Harley(used to be Camden County Harley) and they weren't too Buell friendly, I kinda felt out of place.

So is there anywhere in my area that is good...I am only 20 minutes from Philly if there is a good dealership there.

Thanks Guys

It will be the shortest 100 miles you ever ride/drive.

I live in New York City and drive 150 miles to Cape May to have my oil changed and get the truck serviced.

Yankee,
No there aren't any Buell friendly dealers in South Jersey, or the Philly area for that matter. Barb, the owner of Barb's (DOH) is very nice and does a great job. Both my brother and I bought bikes from there years ago. Back in the tube frame days, when they were in the old building - not the wig place off the exit ramp, what is now a Sleepy's store - they were pretty good with Buell, too. But not now, at least on the sales side from my limited recent experience there. Do not, repeat, DO NOT go to Brian's in Langhorne. Make the trip to Liberty. I had my S2 serviced and dyno-tuned at Liberty in the spring time. I rode up the Turnpike from Philly, caught a ride back, then took the train up (lugging 'stich and helmet), picked up the bike, and rode back. If I hadn't cought the flu a few Fridays ago I would have been there for the open house as well.
100 miles on the Turnpike isn't much more than an hour : )

I drive up from Barnegat. It is probably 65 mi or so each way and I will continue to do so. It is a small price to pay for a dealer that treats you well. As Anthony said, they are the real deal and I can only agree.

Drive the extra miles and head to Liberty. You won't be sorry. When you have staff that rides Buells and participate here on BadWeB, you can't go wrong.

Rob:

Let me know when you'll be there. I try to get by from time to time and it'd be great to meet you.

You'll see a couple neat things at Liberty.

  • They are nice.
  • They value your BUELL business.
  • You will feel welcome.
  • You will see LOTS of Buell stuff (including Thunderbolts shirts - no other dealer in the country has these)
  • You'll find a variety of Buell race bikes.
  • You'll find high trained techs
  • You can get your questions answered without having to fend off a guy trying to sell you a Sportster.

These guys have worked their asses off to invest in and support Buell.

I think the best way to bring other dealers on board is for folks to see that Buell owners REALLY support a good dealer.

Don't miss the chance, when you are there, to meet Chris (Moose), Michelle (Chellam) and Anthony. . .

You guys are so sweet.

Absolutely, if you're heading up, make sure you ask for me. I'm almost always here, and I'd love to say hi.

(If they look at you wierd when you ask for me, just mention the badweb - I have them trained to fend of suits selling things.: ) )

I'm always happy to check stock on parts before you head up also, in case we're out of something we can order it for you and save you from taking two trips up.

Welcome to the Buell family!
(I'm actually originally from Vineland. Where abouts are you from?)

Liberty rocks. I heard so many horror stories about the dealer "experience"I almost didn't buy a Buell. But reading about Liberty here convinced me to try it, and I don't regret it at all. These people really "get it".

Ya know . . . it occurred to me (after a mea culpa conversation with a Buell owner I am helping today) that I left out the greatest asset of the folks at Liberty.

They are honest.

Read that again.

They are honest.

That's huge.

You got that right. is is a dream come true. I left electric city hd-buell in P.A. to drive 200 mile a day to work for this place , and i'll tell you the ride sucks but every day i get here its worth it well almost every day. we give a 110% every day to make sure that BUELL customers know we truly care
