without barker having trucked his own bike down and not giving it a second thought about dropping off my bike at the harley dealer back in chattanooga i would have had a long ride back up to get the truck and trailer just to run and get the bike.

and a special thanks to rotzaruk for being around this weekend to not only enjoy the great company of the badwebbers out there but to also get me home with all my gear.

and to all the other badwebbers out there, there are no better bunch of people on this earth. glitch or etenuly or who ever. ya'll are great.

my wife did calm down by the time i got home. i didn't get the frying pan across the head or the tongue lashing that i thought i was going to get. when i did get settled in though i sat in a tub of hot water for a while. i'll be hurting for a few days and the days of wanting to try a track day ore totally over. one of the concessions to save 25 years of marriage.

Neil, I'm sorry.....my brain cells that hold back expressing thoughts that should be retained are not yet back in order. (OH MY with Bengay! Who would have figured). It was great meeting Ed too. He's got some good grand kids there too. Or were those some kind of figments??

Glad to help.

At first, I was so mad with myself for hauling the bike on the back of the truck. (two flats on the way down) it took 8 hours to get to Suches from Nashville! But being able to help out a fellow rider made it worth while.

And for all of who wondered, you can get 2 XBs short bed S-10. It was a little tricky, but it can be done. There was still plenty of room for all of my gear/crap. Shoulda took some pix.

P.S. my wife wont let me go to a track day either, but now after seeing all the ulys at the campsite, she wants a Uly by this spring! JACKPOT!

It was great meeting fellow TN buellers.

Too bad Matt wouldn't answer his phone while I was stranded in BFE with a dead battery. : |

Sure, blow off FT BSTRD. No one likes him anyway.

Unfortunately, I forgot the list of numbers and didn't have the RAN handy.

I was FUBAR, plain and simple.

Matt's number is the only one I have in my phone.

Well it was after 5 when me and brankin left Ge. That is a diffrent story. we saw Carlos and Kristi and Jim and Rebecca pullin zaxbes but other things were in the worksAfter me and brankin split up I found out a XB9 will get 56 MPG at 80mph at least for 100 miles. In gaffny a trucker pulled in my lane And I was running 80 about the time I was running out of road he saw me and pulled back right it was time to change underwear. got home safe and had a GREAT time

"Too bad Matt wouldn't answer his phone while I was stranded in BFE with a dead battery."

My cell batt was dead. We used my wifes to coordinate with the Nevrenuf/dealership for the drop-off.

fat, I would have ran over to ya asap if I had known, sorry. I had two XB batteries on the back of my truck. and a tester.

FYI me and mrs barker's # are in RAN. Never leave home without it.

Right before Barker left for Tennessee, he rescued me when I got separated from the group and ran out of gas. He came all the way back with a touring bike rider he convinced to carry a gas can. Even the wait by the side of the road was fun that day.

You're a good guy, man. I'm glad you were there.

Nevr
No need to thank me. I would have hauled you home just to see the fireworks when we got there. I tried to get you to let me carry you in moaning and groaning and go for the sympathy, but no. Then I tried to get you to at least ride my crutches in, but you wouldn't. Just wanted to take it like a man. And then I think Diann was actually glad to see you all in one piece. No show at all!
You know, she married a guy who has probably always kind of lived life on the edge. If you changed much, she may not like you at all anymore. Besides, you now have gained learning and wisdom.
YOU FOUND OUT WHERE THE EDGE IS!!!!(giggle) All you have to do now is, don't go over it again.
Regarding the ride home though, anybody that would ride that far with that load of wild renegades I had deserves some kind of commendation. I think you quelled two or three uprisings before we made it home, and even soaked up a big orange drink. They might be malfunctioning figments at that. I'm still digging out happy meal rubble from that excursion.
I was really impressed with Barker's jumping in there and hauling your bike in. He never batted an eye and seemed just tickled to death to do it. Him and Dj (Glitch might have been in on that too) loaded those bikes up and tied them down while us cripples watched and encouraged as best we could.
It's too bad Ft didn't have one of our numbers; we could have rescued him while we were waiting for Barker to rescue you while he was out rescuing Dj. I guess the thing to do, if you were in need of help at a function like that would be to call TWO and request a porch announcement. You'd probably have more help than you could use!! Badwebbers are just the rescuing sort, plus most are worth having around just for entertainment value. Even that crosseyed one with the mason jar.

yea, after that one, i have a lot to live up to. now if we were able to call one number to access the RAN in the event that something happened like it did to fat. unfortunately i lost my phone at the scene of the accident so the last time i saw fat i didn't even have my phone in case something did happen. but after we got the bikes loaded up with barker, ed took me back to the scene of the crime and i did find the phone.

That place is called Neil's Gap now, because there wasn't a gap before you got there.

If you're going have any number committed to memory, make it mine! I keep a list of BadWeBr's in my phone and/or palm. I also keep a list of numbers when we travel as a group so if someone has a problem, they can call someone from the group traveling to the same destination.

If you check the RAN, the first number listed is our home number, the second is my cell number.

maybe another thread is in order so that we don't have another incident like fat. and i will get on the ran for just that reason. i know how jeremy could be pissed off because no one could help him on a sunday but so far i haven't been treated to bad at thunder creek plus the guy he talked to on that day is now aware of the RAN along with some of the mechanics who two of which have buells. if i don't see the one up on the ran soon, i'll get on his case and remind him. one good turn deserves another.
