I am looking for positive or Negative reviews on Smoky Mountain HD/Buell near Maryville TN. They talk the talk but do they support and walk the walk of Buell.
Might be moving to the area. Thanks

Talk to Brad (86129squids). He is definitely the real deal!

Vern (Etennuly), Mark (Orangulius), and George (Gotj) I believe all service there. You might PM them and get their impressions.

They are GIGANTIC, though! Their "kegger" pavilion out back is larger than most dealerships.

I was there last year and they seemed very buell friendly. They had about 12 bikes on the floor at the front at least one of every model and even a HD milatary bike on disply. They also had shirts, patches and jackets. One of the guys I was with needed some parts and they had them in stock.

Their Buell sales guys and stock of bikes ranks with the best. Brad and Gary are Buell owners and riders.

The parts guys are OK and they seem to be stocking some parts(ask for the Buell parts guy). The motor clothes department do real well in keeping a fair assortment of jackets, pants, shirts, helmets and such.

Service department scores a serious eh.....they don't suck, everything has been fixed in a timely manor, but I always have to re-check their work and put in missed bolts and re-torque everything to be sure. I have found that it is best to find the fix for whatever problem here on the BadWeb and carry that info to the service advisers in a polite manor so that they know what to look for. Saying that, they always have worked with me.

I service my bike my self and they don't have problems dealing with that. Having been at many dealerships from Florida to Wisconsin to Pennsylvania I highly recommend them.

Thanks for your response and candid observation. How about Mark or George? Any more comments?

Been a while since I was there.

Went with a fellow badweber whose voltage regulator died on the dragon. The bike got towed there, and they were totally cool. They pulled a regulator off the shelf meant for another customer(oops) to get us back on the road(his only transportation).

We bs-ed with the sales guys for a while, and they hooked us both up with free "demo" t-shirts.

Two Thumbs Up from here!

That reminds me.....They did come rescue me on a Saturday late afternoon when my clutch cable broke ninety miles from my home and thirty miles from them. That was an awesome recovery.

If they would just put ALL of the bolts back in correctly tightened, and base their repairs on an experienced mechanic and not a "the computer doesn't show a code" guy, the service department could be a winner. The Service reps are good, no problem there. The equipment and shop are first class too.

I have to second Etennuly's comments. My experience is pretty much the same. Brad in sales is awesome and was the one who hooked me up with my Uly. I often feel I am better informed than the service guys just because I read BadWeb thoroughly.

All said, I would buy from them again. PM George and he'll add his 2 cents.

Let me know if there is anything else I can do for you.

i give them two thumbs up. they have helped me out a few times. they have replaced my voltage reg. as mentioned above by tank_bueller they have also replaced my front wheel bearing, and have pulled a foot peg off of a brand new bike when mine broke. these were all on different occasions. they treat you really well there.

Haven't bought a bike there, but they seem pretty cool. I got a TPS reset for $25 or so.
