I just like the looks of the tuber. If I had to get a new bike- it would probably be a Duc or BMW. The Xb is just to generic looking. |

Take one for a ride. You might just feel a little differently afterwards. |

the next bike will be a xb, but the m2 will never leave the stable... theres something about it that the xb line just doesn't capture. |

"I just like the looks of the tuber. If I had to get a new bike- it would probably be a Duc or BMW. The Xb is just to generic looking." While I will agree that an S2 will always have the edge in looks, when I park my red '07 XB9R in line with the CBR's, GSXR's and the like my bike gets all the double takes. |

That Desmo stuff, while admittedly I haven't done a lot of research, seems like a hassle. It's like 6k between services and you have to shim stuff?! I'm okay playing with my roller rockers in a Windsor on the side of the road. Actually, I keep my feeler guages and the correct wrenches in the glovebox (had a rocker arm come loose on the way to a wedding). But you have to measure the valve lash. Figure out how much of a new spacer you need, order that, in stall, etc. While the Monsters are super sexy (I was at a Ducatti, BMW, Vespa dealer and the sales guy was just thooper), the down time isn't worth it to me. I like to ride, not set valve lash or clean chrome. |
