I need to rotate my engine and remove my frame. Is there a vise or lock I can pick up that will sit on my garage floor. I need to support the engine with a tranny jack. I dont want to buy a lift for the bike because I wont be able to put a tranny jack on it and it will take up some serious space in the garage. Does anybody here know of a good floor mounted way to lock my rear wheel?

I just built a wheel chock similar to the powerchock referred to above (with a wider track to fit the rear tire) and use tie downs from the outriggers to the passenger pegs to stabilize the bike. Price.....2hrs of my labor.

Put a piece of 1/2" all thread, maybe 18" long, thru the rear axle and support it (the all thread) on the ends with a pair of car jack stands...
