I'd like Combustion Chamber volume and, if possible, flow data at various valve lifts as well as the test depression used.

I'd also like a Lotus Elise - but that doesn't mean I'm gonna get it. I'd appreciate whatever anyone can contribute.

I also THINK I saw XB cam specs here someplace. I spent about an hour searching for 'em last night and got ZIP - aside from .550 lift and something like fortysomething degrees BTDC IVO.

While I'm asking, does anyone have intake lengths measured?

BTW, I'm referring to stock XB pieces all around...

Chamber volume is around 62cc (they vary). So they're like Lightning heads, with a 3-13/16 stroke they'll get you around 10:1 with flat-tops.

Don't know the flow figures off the top of my head. Brian says they're pretty comparable to Thunderstorms, though, and out-of-the-box they're all over the map just like Thunderstorms.

Valve sizes are the same: 1.810 or so on the intake, 1.580 or so on the exhaust, but they have 7mm stems instead of 5/16.

cam specs:

I:26/100/46 (252 degrees) @.053, .550 lift, .192 tdc lift
E:61/115/11 (252 degrees) @.053, .550 lift, .122 tdc lift

The cams reportedly have excellent dynamics, they're very easy on the valvetrain and which is one of the big factors in the achieving the 7500rpm rev limit of the XB on relatively light springs. The other factors of course are the lightweight 7mm stems and the beehive springs with little retainers.

The timing rotor keyway is not in the same place with these cams as it is with the XL & Blast cams. So that complicates putting them in a tuber.
