Actually . . . he's never been more excited and after feeding him last night I let him sleep until he woke up today. . . he was TOTALLY shot after a long week of international flights, driving all night and sleeping in a van for 2 hours. We've had, I am sorry to report, a bit of a development in that we got an e-mail at 3:48am that Erik Anderson (Thunderbolts Bass player who had stayed behind to play in Milwaukee last night and was flying in this morning) was on stage last night when his wife's cellphone rang. There house was engulfed in flames and was a 100% loss including their beloved collection of pet birds. The FD guys, struggling with the fire ended up bulldozing the house to control the flames. It's looking like the day may turn into, and it could be really cool, more hanging out swapping stories and visiting with friends than a concert. We'll be outta here in about 20 minutes and Erik's already asking who all is going to be there. . . this has turned into one of the neatest annual reunion of FRIENDS. There is even a rumor, as I type this, that the Great Dane in on the way, via New Jersey Transit Train . . . Party on Wayne!  | ||

It must be Tuesday. The forecast said there was no rain in sight till Tuesday, so that's the only explanation, right? Court, it was great seeing you again! And despite the rain we had a great time. I came down with Techmikeny and his parents; we all rode through the liquid sunshine to be there. And I even got my Lightning Long signed!  | ||

Well, it sure was wet, to pretty much everyone's surprise. Seemed like as long as we stayed away from the dealership the rain held off... Oh well, still a great time. I got to put some faces to a lot of names, though I recognized the bikes first, no surprise. I got to meet the man himself as well as Court briefly. I look forward to it again next year. We had a great time and Carlee was all smiles after meeting Erik. She was totally stoked about having her picture taken with him. Later I bought her a red Buell hat with sparkles and we had Erik sign it. I think it has replaced the pink hat as her new favorite! | ||

408 miles from Start to finish on the day, plus getting to meet Court, Erik, plus a ton of Badwebbers. Just got home so will go through my pics tomorrow and see if any of them are worth keeping | ||

Erik and I saw this on the way . . I suggested we pull along side and start bombarding them with Buell shirts! So what stopped ya? I can't believe you guys spotted us on the highway, what are the chances of that happening again? I see you found the pictures I took of you on Crusty's Uly. I couldn't resist. You looked like a kid with his first new car! | ||

We were unable to "communicate" as there was a digital 4-track recorder running and we were in the midst of a 27 minute debriefing. There is a chapter that may or may not be in the book but that HAD to be accurately captured before memories got any further clouded. We're trying to determine the statute of limitations. It really made the entire scene kinda funny. . . I was doing the navigation by pointing and sign language. . . when I saw the Suburban with the Buell sticker . . . Erik was in the middle of a thought and i was leaping and springing (as best an old man can) all over the place. It was a genuine fun time. Some of these deals you have to do and you have a good time. It speak volumes that all the guys are not only willing to take 4 days to invest in making a 3 hour appearance but drove 28 hours to and fro. Something just ocurred to me . . . we should have had an award for the person who traveled the furthest to attend. . . Erik would have won! | ||

whose the guy with the big spot lights on his uly and what is he spotting, elephants. unfortunately i was over in lakewood last weekend for my nieces wedding. always a day late and a dollar short. chellum, i met you and your husband last year at dinner down in orlando when daves showed up for his last dealer show. if your husband ever decides to get rid of his s3t can i have first dibs. i'm quite partial to that color scheme. the next time i get over that way i'll do my best to stop in. Thanks - it was nice to meet you finally too! And thanks for your help distributing cake - I would have been slicing cake for, well, I'd probably STILL be slicing cake the way I do it. As you can tell from the picture. Clearly I should NOT be given a knife. I'm so glad everyone had fun despite the rain! The best-laid plans, etc etc. Now, what to do NEXT year? | ||

Hey all, Chellem thank you for a wonderful event! Guys I had the Millenium in 2000 #289, still have the gas cap. I was rear ended by a F250 pick up guy was drinking in the cab, driving. It was my first Buell, needless to say I was blessed I didn't get too hurt, very banged up, the bike took most of the impact, 30 days later I was back in the shop with the Millenium's jet coated headers and put them up to the Racing stripe #274 bought that bike, I now have 30,000 miles on it, and have an XB9SX, A member of the Rider's Edge team in HD headquarters sent me the poster as a gift last year! I've done so much on the Buells  K | ||
