I never understood why people don't wear all the gear. If the gear is too hot, just think how hot bandages and plaster are. |

Hi Gang
Anyone want to guess which will be "healed" first - me or the bike?
Six weeks is a good estimate for a broken bone (though it feels pretty good)
Bike's been at the dealer for a week and the estimate is still not done.
Obviously no parts have ben ordered yet.
I think its road worthy now - but I will defer to the experts with regard to any front wheel or fork damage that might be more than the scratches I can see with my untrained eye.
Apparently the only way I can get the bike out of the shop after the estimate and before the parts arrive/repair work is done is to
Pay for the estimate out of pocket, to be reimbursed by the insurance co (GEICO) at the end. But before I can do that, GEICO states I need a written statement from the lienholder (Bank) that they are OK with that.
Still kicking myself for smelling the "paint" but not being able to detect if was diesel on the road. |
