Finished this hopefully "never again" job yesterday. I got in a short ride around the block before the rains began, everything seems OK. At first it seemed like a barely feasible "side of the road" job, but by the time It was finished I'd used two each of jacks, stands, and straps as well as pry bars... Maybe I need a sidecar to haul all this stuff? Anybody know what the book time is for this job? Clear skies forecast tomorrow... Looking forward to a longer ride! |

Took me about 1.5 hours using my home made iso compressor tool. I must have been doing something wrong. |

Yeah, the M2/S3 are a pain to change. I'm not sure why they don't have a removable frame section like the X1. I can change the isolators on mine in 45 minutes. Belt changes are even easier. |

It took me about 2.5 hrs the first time on a Cyclone. That includes making the iso compressor and freezing the new isolators in their compressed state. The freeze time allowed a decent beer break.... |

It dried out today, so I went for a longer test ride. I burned a whole tank of gas and couldn't find anything wrong, so I guess my M2L is good to go. |
