I was browsing around and came across a cool comparison test of these at:

http://www.american-v.co.uk/roadtests/head2head/4x buells/index.html

I was actually looking for Cycle's early 80's comparo of the sport 400/450 twins, specifically Honda 400 Hawk vs. Suzuki GS450S, because I still remember lusting after that GS as a 16-year-old, and I just found one like NEW for cheap money. Am I too old for it now I wonder...

Anyway, enjoy the Buell story

Thanks for posting an interesting read.

Just buy the GS. You can always re-sell it.

That is why I have a ATC 200X, just like the one that I dearly loved back in '84, and an XL 250 that is in a rebuilding stage.
