Bob received a free OSU football ticket from his company, but the seat was at the top of the Shoe.

Once the game started, Bob noticed an empty seat on the fifty yard line, a few rows from the field. He made his way down and sat in the seat.

He asked the elderly man next to him if the seat was being used.

“No,” said the man. “It belongs to me. My wife and I have attended every Buckeye football game together. But she died, so I’m here alone this year.”

“How sad,” said Bob. “You didn’t have any friends or relatives that could go with you?”

“No,” said the man. “They’re all at the funeral"

I am not a Michigan fan, but I could not take my eyes off the game last week... it was like watching a horrible car accident in slow motion.
