Wow!!!
That's sure an uplifting post!!
I wonder how often in similar undertakings the amount paid is more than the amount pledged?

Thank you Kristi, and all the others that organized and kept all that going straight!!!
Still awed by the BadWeB.

Don't know, but it certainly happened more than once. In fact the patches brought in $210 more than the actual cost.

Between the "special BadWeB price" for patches and extras paid on the auctions, it was enough to off-set the PayPal fees plus some.

BadWeBr's are definitely second to none.

You can read the entire story here. Get a box of tissues, as it's a very touching journey of a young man and his incredible family.

The down and dirty, BadWeBr's came together to raise money to off-set unpaid medical expenses for a young man, Matt Ware, who died of brain cancer earlier this year. He was a friend of Alex "Prior" here on BadWeB. We've followed Matt's journey through his illness up to the time that he was placed in a hospice setting. BadWeBr's stepped up and in less than a month we had raised over $10,000.

I've just closed out everything and wanted to post the final totals for everyone to see.

Kristi,
Thanks for getting the totals posted and taking care of all of the fund raising here on Badweb. You Rock!

And as always, a huge thanks to the rest of you for all you've done. You are all amazing; what a great family we have.

Wilson- enjoy the story, it's a heck of an adventure about a remarkable guy.
