yeah that photosynth stuff is pretty interesting. I saw this the other day and thought it was pretty amazing as well.

That is totally cool! I have been to two of the collections they have, Ely cathedral and Trafalgar Square. It's cool to be able to smoothly zoom in on all the photos and the resolution is amazing.

That image resizing stuff is pretty cool too! That would make displaying images on the web so much easier and better.

I know Ely & the cathedral very well, born & grew up round there, it's an impressive building, known locally as "The Ship of the Fens" it stands on a hill sticking up out of what used to be marshland, on a clear day you can see it over 10 miles away!
The sight never fails to stir me, my daughter has even sung there for the Christmas celebrations.
Amazing when you think that construction started over a thousand years ago!
