Glad to hear that your bike is not giving you problems. I had a 1998 S1W that I managed to 31k miles on in spite of the problems. The problems I had are too many to list here. The experience was compounded by a real crummy dealer and lack of support from Buell customer service. Because of these experiences it is not possible for me to own another Buell. It is just that simple.

First Buell: '98 S3-T 60,000 miles. Numerous problems, but Buell customer service ALWAYS stood up to the plate. When my front isolator broke just before Homecoming '99, and it looked like I wouldn't be able to get it fixed in time, I was told, "You'll be at Homecoming if I have to drive out to Massachusetts and bring you back, myself". 6 hours later, my bike was repaired and rolling down the highway.
In June of 2000, I traded the S3 in on an M2. I've only managed to put 26,000 on it. (Got remarried, and can't ride as much as I used to) It's as reliable as any other bike I've owned. Would I buy another? Well, I know where there's an Amazon Green '98 S3-T with only 4,500 miles showing. Cosmetically, it's rough, but it can be had for a very nice figure... I still think the S3-T is the most beautiful motorcycle ever made, and with the upgrades available,(new isolators, metal rocker box gaskets, front exhaust hanger) it should be pretty much a real joy to travel on. Yup, I think I will.
