Don't do it! It'll completely spoil you for future trackdays. Seriously though, it was a top notch experience, I'd highly recommend it.

Road America was great !! Too bad I filled up my primary on my first session when the main crank seal went !!

That's OK - Doing it again in October !!

It is great fun .. teaches you a lot abot yourself... careful though - it's addicting !!

I'll be at RA in Oct on the FJR and in line for the 1125R. I hope to hit another one also, but we'll have to see.

Yabbut he was asking about the PTT Buell on-track demos THIS year. They've done Barber, Miller Road American and Autobahn. What do you think about PTT operation, what are your impressions of riding the 1125R?

I don't think the 1125R was at a PTT event .. yet ..

The October date at RA is a PTT event ... and the 1125r will be there for demo rides .. My photo is also from the first PTT at RA in June ...

As I said - It's great fun !

Alright yall, for me can we please call Road America, Road America. I keep thinking yall are talking about Road Atlanta!

PTT is great, Leon is a top noch guy! I did the Barber day and have yet to do a track day as organized, helpful, and just plain ole fun!

I only do track days with PTT after a few bad experiences with other groups.

And yes....I own 3 Buells but the GSXR is my track weapon of choice

For Road America, it would make sense to utilize the gixxer tool: ) Looks pretty damn sweet.

Lake,
I didn;'t know you spelled Buell with an i : )

hey what kind of leather do you need for this gig? Are the 2 piece zip together, not a full circumference zip, but a short one in back okay?

I'm on for September 27th @ Pocono, this is the last thing I need to iron out. I have the Vanson pants and Buell jacket (XR1 I think). is that good enough?

Thanks
Matt

Mbsween .. it depends on what class you run .. 2 piece is fine up to Intermediate .. I believe one piece leathers are only required for the Advanced ... Novice group it really doesn't matter, IIRC I saw a couple guys in jeans ... many people in textile 2 pieces (self included)

Tattood,
Cool, I'm in intermediate, novice was sold out.

Hope they have the 1125R there, that would be way cool, but I could see it getting expensive
