I still won (winning while bidding on eBay may be the ultimate oxymoron.)

Oh well I had to have the parts manual and my lovely bride decided that my old, well used, service manual was way too ugly to sit in my data center so she tossed it -- women! Ended up getting the set.

ebay actaully is trying to stop third party snipping.

I know several other auction sites have a 5 or 10 minute rule.
