This is not a Buell by any means. This is something I would love to do also. But after working with a guy at Spirit Aerosystems for a year I found out that he was going to Bonneville for the last week in Aug...
After talking with him about this, his father was the one doing this and he was helping out as part of the crew.
Sometimes you don't really know who you are working with.
If any one wants there name on the car you have to drop some money to him. This is all done in a home one car garage in Wichita Ks. on a retirement income and I know for a fact that it goes right to the bike.
If you want to know this is not his first time at Bonneville....

Hey william ! See if you can arrange for a few of us to come by and meet this guy and check that out. He is a local legend, but only a few locals have seen his cycle. I know abnout 5 people who would really love to have a meet and tour.

Ok I might have Sunday set up this week. It still not in stone. They will leave Tues. Or Wed. next week.
This is for Max. Sorry it’s not a car it’s a motorcycle. Also if you drop him some money your name will not go on the Bike but on the web sight for contributions.
Let's make it worth his while.

Hey if anyone wants to know. Max's streamliner went 199.--? I don't know the micro seconds. They over revved the engine and broke a couple of gears in the transmission. The next attempt is coming up.

They have lost all lower gears and only have High gear. There allowed to push start to get it up to speed.
221. MPH and going for another attempt.
