I saw on another post there's something like 12,000 Buellers on BadWeb... Is that right? That's a lot of Buell owners! I'm curious as to how many Buells BMC make a year these days, anybody know? How does this compare to other smaller companies like Moto-Guzzi, KTM or even Ducati? Anyone know how many Buells have been made to date? (And how many X1's were made??? ) cheers, chili |

Over 100,000 Buells to date. IIRC over 10,000 last year. Beyond that I do not know. The 100,0000th bike was an orange Uly and it was given to Erik at the ceremony commemorating the milestone. |

Got it from a reliable source that Moto Guzzi made 10000 units in 06. Aprillia wont answer that query. (Message edited by wile_ecoyote on August 16, 2007) |

So Buell has caught up to Guzzi in production volume? That's not bad! Now we just need the brand recognition that Guzzi has. |

Actually, I get "Who makes that?" When riding a Guzzi. Some know but most dont. Course this is HD country. Iwas asked today who makes a BULL? Yeah, I was polite. |

Cool! Thanks folks I didn't realise BMC had passed the 100,000 mark, and outstanding work getting past the annual 10,000 mark. Yeah, I still get the "What's a Buell?" question, never been asked who makes a BULL though ;) LOL! Guzzi's seem to be a little better known in Oz. I worked in a Guzzi shop part time when I was still at school, would still love to own one... Mmmm, LeMans MkIII... |

Thats a goody. (MkIII) I uncrated and put together a Norge today. Big and heavy but a nice rider nonetheless. I took our demo Griso out also. Lots of torque. Also big. Nice bikes. |

Jose - or anyone for that matter - have any info on Buell production broken down by model? I was quite shocked/surprised/dismayed to learn that for 2008 production the XB12R is not projected to reach VIN # 1313... I know it's a stretch for anyone to have this type of data, but I saw an opening and I went for it. 1313 |
