Here I sit about ready to clock out of this job for the last time. I've worked in news for the past 4 years and finally had enough. heading back to school for radiology. Of course, Buell has to release the 1125R as I make this switch! Oh well, when I graduate, guess what my gift to myself will be!! Anyone in the area of Greeley Colorado hit me up, as that's my new home starting Monday.

Ahh!! Tis a brave and worthy thing, to find the next door and open it. Seems to be a good field with lots of demand. I've known folks with several years experience who could go anywhere and get a good job.
Good luck!!!

It's a very liberating experience so enjoy it. It'll have some highs, some lows, and some unknowns. I've done it, a few times, and so far (thank God) it's always been for the better.

You really need to enjoy your job because if you don't the misery you pick up at work gets carried to every other aspect
of your life. I know I have quit a job where I was making really good money and taken one where I made considerably
less because I was absolutely miserable in the job I'd had.

It takes guts to make the leap. I hope it works out for you. Good luck with school.

Good field. You could probably have a job right out of the box when you graduate. Best of luck to you.

Here I was thinking it was a lotto winning thread. I am thinking of doing the same when my house sells. Off on a road trip, and maybe a relocation. Very cathartic. (if you schedule them early enough, sometimes you can get multiple midlife crises)
