Congratulations Kowpow!

Take your vows extremely seriously. Treat her like a princess. Put her first in most everything.

Hey I got married in Lake Tahoe this year. If you want any tips let me know. I got married in a church up there that i help build while i was living out there. I know a great little restaurant that is killer up on the north shore. Its called Soule Domain.

I remember when I got engaged I was super stoked as well. Everything just felt right as I had been with the girl for the past 7 years and I was 23 years old.

My advice? Stay involved in the wedding planning - I remember being told that places NEVER heard from the groom.

I wish I could tell you I made the right choice and I'm happy and all that crap, but the broad jumped ship out of the blue on me. Turns out I was pretty blind to just how "not right" our relationship was - very controlling from both directions, yadda yadda, and her falling for a mutual friend didn't help anything. I laughed when he turned her down because she was a "headcase"...lol

Bottom line is congrats, all the way. I'm phyched about the idea of finding "the one" someday and am truely happy you've found yours. I think the girl i'm seeing now might be it, but we got a little time to decide - not rushing anything these days.

Have fun with it. Marraige is going to be work, but it's supposed to be worth it, too.

Thanks for the tips everybody.
Ashley and I are going to have a big Catholic wedding....you know, the usual assortment of beer drinking and 45 minute ceremonies.

a big Catholic wedding

It's the big Catholic Reception that my NC native Baptist Family didn't understand! They were totally out of their element. Not sure how long it took them to recover!

Big Catholic weddings ROCK!
