Well it looks like a group of us NEBO guys are going to take a trip up to Bear Mt next Saturday 8/4/07 and come home on Sunday. Trying to see who will be out and available for a ride???? I'm going in for ACL replacement surgery on the 15th so this will probably be my last good ride of the year. | ||

i'm up for it. plenty of great roads around. try the depot in cold spring for a good bite, can sit outside 15ft from amtrack trains running by at 115mph(not kidding). one of my favorite places. | ||

Mike, the Depot is cool. My wife and I had our first date there. The 115 MPH trains are something to experience. DucXL, which Mexican joint. The one in town or the one on the side of the road on Rt. 9? The little Mex joint shut down, but it's larger sibling North of the motel you guys stayed at is still open. Actually just came back from dinner there. Got caught in pouring rain. The Uly lights kinda suck. | ||

cheap.... <$100 I believe, even less if you shack up with someone. Check the NEBO board. JLB..... he's talking about the one down the street from the hotel, next to the gas station. | ||

MMMMMMmmmmmmmmmm  i LOVE Mexican food! OOHHHHHHH...Tamales'! That place was great! Seemingly run by POP with his daughter and family. | ||

Unfortunately, that place was closed, but the same owner is running the sister restaurant a few miles up Route 9. The property owner saw how well the original Mom and Pop restaurant was doing and raised their rent astronomically. The new location even has a bar and more seats. No more BYOB. The food is still just as good. | ||

Careful out there,,was down there last week.They started re-surfacing from Camp Smith up to the toll house (Bear Mountian Bridge Road ).Sucked getting there and 2 runs of fresh blacktop inside/outside lane and old in the center. Figured i'd let ya know.. Ride Safe | ||

Take a ride from Cold Spring on Rt.301 to Carmel. Some beautiful corners. Watch for cops through Fahnstock Stae Park. | ||
