From reading the article all they are saying is "Innocent until proven guilty"

I can agree with that.

But it sure doesn't look good for Vick.

"If Mr. Vick is guilty, he should pay for his crime, but to treat him as he is being treated now is also a crime,"

At least they have an organization to defend him.Where were they when the Virginia Tech students were crucified in public for a crime they did not commit?

Double standard

On Monday, Tony Taylor, a co-defendant in the case, pleaded guilty in Virginia to federal dogfighting conspiracy charges in a plea agreement with prosecutors.

Vick's screwed.

"We're not condemning bad behavior, but Michael Vick is innocent until proven guilty," Dubose said.

WTF!!??

WE'RE NOT CONDEMNING BAD BEHAVIOR???

These idiots should choose somebody to speak for them who can read and understand the English language... though in this day and age, that is asking a LOT!

We ALL should condemn bad behavior - we should not CONDONE bad behavior.

And no, mister Dubose, CONDONE is not what you use for birth control and prevention of disease.

it is completely amazing, the things that get exploited...

I have lost alot of faith in the system...

The NAACP is worthless and superfluous and they know it.

Where were they when the DUKE students were crucified in public for a crime they did not commit?

IIRC Sharpton was carrying a sign and leading a protest in front of the house where the ALLEGED rape took place within a day or two of the ACCUSATION.

from the article "The man is entitled to due process under the law, as is any citizen," Allen said.

The NAACP sure didn't give them white boys the benefit of the doubt, I guess the general public is unwilling to give Vick the benefit of the doubt either, and the NAACP is right there playing the race card again. I would like to see a reporter covering the case bring that to the NAACP's attention on camera. I for one, would like to hear their reaction/explaination.

"And no, mister Dubose, CONDONE is not what you use for birth control and prevention of disease."

We use condiments for that right?

Condoning and condemning seems to be based purely on some organization's agenda. They've forgotten about right and wrong, moral or immoral, and silly things like that.

Yeah... you sure did.

He's going to remember the peeps that stuck by his side when he was in trouble. They must be looking at the long run, when Vick gets out of jail with more street cred and that big NFL checkbook.

That Dubose is a really slimey character. I can't help but feel he's an anachronism in the 21st century.

Too bad Belushi died. He was great!

It is too bad that he died, but when you consider what his fellow SNL actors are doing today. Sometimes going out on top is better than wallowing in stupid family films. The only one that is on the ball any more is Bill Murray.

Eddie Murphy: No where near as funny as he used to be
Chevy Chase: Is just a nut case anymore.
Dan Aykroyd: I think he's too busy chasing UFOs
Steve Martin: How many of those "Father of the Bride" style movies can he do?

Question: How well would it go over in society if there were an organization called, "NAAASP..National Association for the Advancement of Anglo Saxon Protestants."? Or the Miss Caucasian America pageant or how about WET (white entertainment television). Fairness just isn't so fair anymore is it?
