Sucks! Same thing happened here with 2nd Avenue. It used to be cool eclectic shops and warehouses. Gaylord bought it and gave us another McDonalds, Hooters, and the Wildhorse. Let's hope that some portion of the old place remains to the point that people will want to still hang out. |

I was there at the original "Super Sunday" that was actually inspired by those Kawasaki ads. What a day that was! Malcolm Forbes rode up from Jersey with the Capitalist Tools. First time I ever saw an Amazonas motorcycle! I think I should try to get up there this Sunday as a "Farewell." I'm sure I won't be the only one... |

Wow! There were a LOT of Buells up at Marcus Dairy this morning! I even met BadWebber Johnnylunchbox and his wife (he recognized the lightning bolt paint on my Lightning Long). I met up with my friend (Techmikeny on BadWeb) who was speaking to a fellow from Danbury Buell. He was wearing a Buell 1125R shirt and was telling us about the demo ride he got on it a week ago. We were both extremely jealous and it does sound like an AWESOME bike. They had a note taped up to the door of the dairy informing their customers of the recent announcement. They also expect that not much is going to change for the next ten months. When the changes do occur, they expect to have a little diner either on the same spot or in a nearby location so New England's motorcyclists will still have a place to gather on Sunday mornings. I bought a "Marcus Dairy Forever" T-Shirt before I left. Maybe one day it'll be a collectible! |

JaimeC, nice to meet you today. Sorry I had to run, but we were following some shady ol' fellers on BMW's into Dutchess County. You can see in the top picture I am posing with my imaginary wife. I love my Uly more and more every time I ride it. |
