I have to pass along kudos to the Parts manager at Cowboy Harley/Buell in Austin. Went in last weekend to buy spark plugs and stuff for an oil change. Usually a quick transaction with not too many questions asked. A gentleman behind the parts guy I was working with overheard the stuff I was asking for (gaskets and such) so he asked what kind of Buell I had. Told him I had an 05 CityX, so he starts talking to me telling me he had a CityX and now traded up for a Uly. He asked what kind of mods I'd made and offered suggestions such as putting an 07 airbox cover to open it up a little. Also talked about some of the parts he has for the XBs including the sweet new blue rims for the CityX (they look even better in person). The guy seemed genuinely interested in the bikes and showed me the catalogs they had received and stuff they'd talked about at the dealer meetings. He even gave me his card and a Buell sticker. I walked out of there feeling pretty good. It was nice to see someone talking up Buell.
