Ferris,don't bad mouth me,I have hostages---besides ya can never have too many motorcycles!!! I ran down the original owner of my second S-2 and he had never seen the timing cover and signature series stuff ,so any ideas on where to look now???He said he traded it back to the dealer in SLC. | ||

My S2 had been stolen the Thanksgiving evening while I was out of town.  I was pissed and felt such an empty place in my heart, like I had lost a member of my family. I am soooo happy to say the police recovered my bike tonight. They found it inside of a stolen trailer. It had been hot wired, the rear disc removed, (because of the disc lock they couldn't drill out) ha ha ha and it had been laid down. But it's back and i'm as happy as a pig in S**T !!! Keep your numbers rolling in guys and gals, the database is getting larger, I'll post it again on Saturday. it's best to email me your numbers and data since this isn't on the main quickboard anymore. My "1996" (per DMV Title and Registration) S2 came with Buell Thunderbolt Signature Series 1995-1996 Timing Cover which states "95S2CA 34/86". Color is Black Sapphire. Bike was sold "new" in 1998 by Glendale Buell. I received this from the prior owner (the original purchaser). I presume it's the correct timing cover for my bike but it may not be... Bike was manufactured in Oct 95 per the manufacturer's label. Jim in Santa Barbara | ||
