i hated the stock seat, it was so softly padded i sunk into the molded seat pan ribs... so I bought a corbin gunfighter, it's hard as a rock.... too hard.

I hate to think i have a picky rear, but what seat is actually worth buying?

i'm looking at the "factory" replacement, the ones with the piping and pegasus logo... are they any better?

The Corbin will need seat time to break in properly. I didn't have the patience with mine but I've heard they're great after 100 miles or so...

Dsergison-
The factory replacement has transformed my riding experience. If you can score one they are worth it.

I don't have an issue with my stock seat.

thx, I've had my corbin for about three sets of tires. so I'd guess 10,000 miles. each spring i think it MY ASS that gets broken in, I can see no chnage in the seat.

I'll have to admit that mine just about cut me in half when I went on vacation most recently.
3000 miles in two weeks.

b

It was still fun but I think I could have had 6000 miles in three weeks if my ass wasn't so weak!

I really think that I may have to get a Uly after this.
