I finished my bike overhaul yesterday and it included a millenium 1250 kit that I got from Terry Parsley (thanks Terry). This is what I have done to the bike from stock form, Andrews H8? cams, the biggest cams that still can use stock V-springs, Mikuni 42mm, 1250 kit and I built my own air filter/ram air. It also has an aftermarket header I got from American Sport Bike but forgot the name and I built my own muffler. I installed the larger front sprocket so that I would'nt have to rev so high at freeway speeds and I had the idea that it would be a bit less snappy and that would be fine for me but this thing is a MONSTER! What I need to know is stuff like HP/torque gains form the 1250 kit alone, I did do a little port/polish job on the exhaust side of the heads as well but I'm looking for the #'s from the kit. I went out last night after a hour long break in ride just to ride it around a bit and I ran across my friend w/ the "NOTORIOUS" 13 mile 07 XB12R that he has now started riding. He has since installed the race muffler, American Sport Bike race filter and ECM, bike runs great, we played a bit and then lined them up, I kicked that bikes a$$ on every race by a ton, pulled him in every gear. Now taking off from a dead was a bit tuff, even w/ the taller front gear she would stand straight up in 1st and 2nd w/ out trying and made for a very hard bike too launch well, I LOVE IT!

Nice looking bike, you need to get that brake light wiring looked into though. : )
I've got the Nallin 1250 kit which originally had the millenium cylinders, but now has Axtell cylinders.
My bike dynoed at 104 HP at the rear wheel. You can probably still see the dyno charts on the NRHS website.

You've screwed up now!!! He'll have to sell it again.
Yours looks good, though, sounds like lots of fun.

i love my 1250 buell, it has tons of power up to red line, and no noticeable loss from the open pipe i use. gains in hp as explained to me years ago are something like 5-8hp due to displacement, lining (if nikasil), and the new pistons. it seems like a lot more than that on the butt dyno though!

Yeah, that 1250 really makes the difference, though, I think a bump in comression helps a bit too...

I would agree along the lines with tripp, depending on WHO you talk to, its anywhere from 5-10 hp just with the increase in size.

Add to that bigger cams...

Like I said, my 1250 and D&D system, are tied for best 2 mods to the bike....
