I'm behind on Husqvarna's history but when did they become an Italian company? I was under the impression they were Swedish. | ||

Cagive bought Husqvarna about 1986. When the Husqvarna brand went to Italy, some of the original Husqvarna engineers in Sweden started up a new brand called Husaberg that did okay for a while. Then KTM bought that and it went to Austria. The Cagiva made Huskys were beautiful bikes. The Cagiva four stroke single had a Nikasil (or something like it) plated cylinder that and was nearly indestructible. Zero break in time on a new set of rings. Jack | ||
