This is what it looked like outside my house this morning. That's my car in the center of the photo, parked right up next to the curb:

I called off sick and went for a ride this morning. Now I'm changing her oil and giving her a bath. I normally walk the one mile to my office. Does this count?

well atleast on the bike you dont have to worry about the fact that your carpet is getting soaked when it comes in the door!

just have to keep on the gas so it doesnt fill up the exhaust on the bike!

It rained here, and I was the only one who rode in. Oh well...

Beautiful ride to work weather here. Unfortunately, I hit some old road kill less then 5 minutes into my ride and had some kind of dead critter juice on my pant leg for the whole ride.

Jamie,

Ask Al Lighton how he wouldn't let a little hail, rain or mudslide stop him from riding.

I missed last year due to rain, even though it was raining this morning I wasn't going to let it stop me again.

This was a lot more than just rain. No mudslides or hail, but we did have a tornado watch (which is HIGHLY unusual for Long Island) and there was an unconfirmed tornado sighting in eastern Suffolk County. This weather caught us all by surprise, NOBODY expected it to be this harsh.

The cherry on the sh*t sundae was the steam pipe explosion in Manhattan during the evening rush hour...

I rode to and from work yesterday. It was a bit wet on the way home, but I managed not to melt.
