Is there any way for me to buy a Uly top-case and mount without buying the side bags?

It seems as though every aftermarket top box setup seems to require removal of the backrest, and grab handles, which I would like to keep.

It must be available separately. I have seen many Ulys with only the side bag kit.

Nope, Buell only sells the top case if you get the sides too.

You can get the top case and mounts separately. I've had the parts guys look it up, and it is indeed available.

It is available separatley if you already have the side cases. You must prove to Buell you already have the side cases.

The dealership must go through Tech Services to get approval. Right now those top cases are on back order.

Hint, they are H&B bags, Hepco and Becker dont care what you hve on your bike, or dont, they will sell you the units. Check online for the local distributor, that is how I got the side bags for my lightning when nobody else would
