Well I decided to finally put some new tires on my CityX due to a large nail puncture on the rear. I was a little nervous about jacking the bike up and tackling the job myself but I have to say it went fairly easily and quickly.

I used my father in law's Craftsman motorcycle jack that has some strap points to keep the bike steady, jacked the bike up and pulled off the front and rear in less than 30 minutes. Rear axle was a little sticky due to some corrosion so that took a few minutes longer but I have to say overall it was a cinch.

Since I had the wheels off I noticed my brake pads were getting a little long in the tooth so I went ahead and switched those out too. It's crazy that the dealership would charge so much to do some of this work but I understand they gotta make money.
