The weekend after Homecoming, July 13th I'll be leaving South Eastern Wisconsin in the afternoon for Iowa Speedway, http://www.moto-st.com/Events/2007_Round5.asp , to help James Gang Racing during pit stops in the race. Weather permitting, I'll be riding my Uly there. I'll have a copy of all the people between here and there that are on the R.A.N thread. Hope I won't need your help though. Anyone interested in tagging along, please let me know. You'll need a place to sack out Friday evening, but Saturday at the Track will be awesome. Just check out the line up. All you Buellers in the area, please come by and support James Gang Racing and any other Buell teams there. HEY DaveS, can ya slip away for a Saturday evening of racing?! |

Man, you're up early too! I thought i was the only one that checks Badweb at 5:30 in the morning. I'll see what I can do about making the race. Be great to see you and the rest of the guys. If you need anything on your journey in Iowa, you know all you gotta do is give me a call. I think you have my cell but it doesn't work when I'm at the shop. Shop number is 319-342-4550 I'm there til 7 pm Friday night 8-5 on Sat. |

Yep Dave. I get up at 4:30am for work everyday, so 5:30am is late for me. Just can't sleep any later. I'll keep your info with me. Hope you can make it there. I'm sure everyone would be glad to see you as well. |

Please do come out! If you're coming out for Homecoming and going to R.A for the races, I'll be there racing along with the James Gang crew. White XB #171. 3 hour race, but there's no pussyfootin' around the track. Pit stops, tire changes, refueling. etc, etc. Some very good racing to see. It will be a good time. |

I'm taking a graduate level class from July 9-20 in Iowa City, but homework or not, I'll be there. I'll be driving in, not riding unfortunately. Best of luck, in advance, to all the Buell teams at Road America and Iowa Speedway!! |

I am definitely going to be there, pit-pass and all. I am hoping to meet some Buell racers, sit on an XBRR, and have a great time seeing my first live motorcycle race. It's too bad its on an oval, but I'll take what I can get. |

They only use part of the oval. The rest is an infield road course. |

You can call it a road course if you want to, but it is really just a couple of turns thrown into the loop at one end. Here a pic take from iowaspeedway.com. The dark grey line is the road course (minus the two little ovals, I don't know what those are for).

Beats a big @ss oval that's all left hand turns. |
