Me and my friend heather, she was driving when I took this pic, took this Budget truck full of furniture and two bikes, unloaded the bikes in Little Rock to head back to Milwaukee.

Funny thing about the budget truck was me and my friend heather loaded up the bikes & stuff, drove down to LR from Milw, and unloaded bikes without mishap.

When we loaded up and got ready to head out I realized I left my wallet in the truck, threw it on the seat after last gas stop, meaning to put it back in my purse.

So we went back to Budget and the truck was locked up tight, we were each standing on the step with our noses pressed to the window looking right at my wallet with my money, license, & credit cards <sigh>.

We suddenly realized the window of the truck was open on one side about 4 or 5 inches, not down far enough to reach in easily.

So we found us a sort of flat rock to set on the step about 4 or 5 inches tall, we still couldn't reach the door handle or to roll window down.

So we looked for a big sturdy stick and put it behind the door handle and the door simply popped open !! Just in case someone was watching the security film of us breaking into the truck we waved the wallet around, Ha !!

This one's blurry but you can get an idea of the up and down stretches, they were just as fun to me as the curves !!

First night at the hotel was fine, except the next morning after we got all loaded and geared up I turned the key to my bike and nothing happened, no noise, no light, nothing.

We checked the battery leads, and still nothing, didn't seem to be loose. Then we checked the fuses/leads under this little black box, pulling them out with pliers and putting them back in.

Don't know what caused the issue, but after that it cranked right up and while I was nervous for a few stops it never failed to start again !!

Second night's stay was interesting, we were in the process of getting a room at this little quiet motel 7, not 6, 7 !!

Suddenly someone ran in yelling "The dryer's on fire, the dryer's on fire", and it took the guy behind the counter a minute or two to register.

He runs out, so do we and sure enough there's a fire, smoke everywhere, mayham, alarms going off and folks streaming out of the rooms yelling and shouting to each other.

Me being a lookey loo, I was checking it all out when I looked for heather and she's still standing at the entrance trying to get me to leave so we could get another hotel, before fire trucks and traffic congestion blocks us in !!

So we go up the street to a travel lodge, pay a little more for the room, but hey at least it's maintained better, I mean how hard is it to start a fire in a dryer !!??

It was a great trip, we made it back to Milwaukee, and that was the last trip I'll be making with my XB !!

It now belongs to another and it was really hard to let that bike go !!

Since I am moving to Arkansas and I have an itch for a new bike, I figured I would have better luck selling it here in Wis !!

Not sure to many folks in Ark know what a "Bool" is !! HA

I am going to miss ALL my Wisconsin riding buddies, A LOT !! I'll still get some trips and riding in with you guys, it will just be a lot less often !! You all know who you are !! : )

I'm so lucky to have met everyone I did, had the chance to go many places on group rides, and to to be part of the Buell racing world for a while, that was a Blast !!

I'm lucky to have had the experiences I've had, wouldn't trade them for anything !! And lucky to have made the friends I did, who will ALWAYS remain my friends, no matter where I live !!

This weekend I'm off to Iowa to see my sis before heading down south for good !!

Got a trip in last week to Grand Forks, ND to see my son, he's stationed there at the Air Force Base !!

I'll be off line for a time, I'll be back and posting as soon as I get my new bike, whatever it will be !!

Thanks for the Great Times Wisconsin !! : )

"sure enough there's a fire, smoke everywhere, mayham, alarms going off and folks streaming out of the rooms yelling and shouting to each other"

Sounds familiar. Isn't that the same thing that happened in Appleton last summer, right after Bomber and I made our, um, Big Entrance?

CJ, you were there both times. I don't believe in co-incidence. Arkansas is gonna burn!!

Looks like it was a great trip!

Good luck in Arkansas. M2me is right, let us know what you end up getting for a new bike! I see from the pictures that Heather has upgraded from the last time I rode with the two of you.

Baby #2 arrives tomorrow. Talk to you soon.
