ok, it may have covered the yard, but maybe it was just fur from combing the dog out, lol

Hehe Is that a Husky or Malamute? Both are great dogs, but they shed like crazy.

actually he is mostly wolf. father was pure and mother was part, but he was really sick and got hit by a car when he was young so he did grow near as big as he should have.

i have had a few huskys, had 3 black and whites at the same time. it was fun

LOL! I feel your pain Tim. You know Tonto, our Akita does the shedding thing 3 times a year. It's a PITA.

I had a Norwegian Elkhound mix at one point. Every time I brushed her it looked like a dog exploded in my backyard. At one time there was a shop in Port Jefferson that would take your pet's shed fur, make a yarn out of it, and knit sweaters, hats and scarves. That dog could've made me rich...

Looks like a transference of irritation from the dog to the groomer.

Dog looks cool and happy.

Groomer looks hot and irritated. ;)

My dog is part Husky. Whenever he walks past the sliding glass door in the middle of the day, it looks like a hair cloud is following him.

We have a mutt that's part snow dog (Husky or Malamute or something similar). Every spring, she has an "under" layer of fur that comes out in tufts like that. She looks pretty strange for a couple of weeks there.

I used to vacuum my Mastiff...He loved it. I tried to get my cats to let me vacuum them. They don't trust me for some reason.
Of course Bart, the cat with the crazy eye, likes to Have his hair styled with the blow dryer every morning.

I have an American Dingo that sheds like the Charlie Brown Christmas tree.

We used to have a white German Shepherd, who was our guard dog. She absolutely loved getting her winter coat removed with our shop air hose.

he absolutely HATES the vacuum. he is the most well behaved animal until that comes out, then he will go over or through anything to get away from it.

i can still tell him to stay(with a few reminders occasionally)and vacuum right next to him if for some reason i needed to, but i get the death stare from him the whole time. he has a way of looking right though you. my friends get creeped out when he decides to stare at them for some reason, lol.

My Am.Dingo(Suki) will get all ferocious when you just walk close to or touch the vacuum...like she is protecting you from the monster.

I had Neopolitan Mastiffs(3). Hair and slobber everywhere. Suki sheds infinitely worse...just no slobber.
