a nail caused me to put on some new tread a week or so earlier than i had planned on, the same day that my ignition relay gave out between the time i put it in the garage the night before, and the time i got it out to go to work in the morning.

while i was at it i put new plug wires and plugs in it, and changed some nitrous jets around...

i will give it a once over again before we leave, and change all the fluids in Jenn's blast along with a once over of that too.

Kind of like watching tennis without the video.

I am trying for the homecoming thing.
Not really preparing much other than driving out.
I have an Aerostitch coming but I don't think that it will arrive in time.

Natex,
See if you can pick up your suit in Duluth, just a day's ride from there to the southeast corner of the state. Plus they have a neat but small little retail store inside their factory, and a rack with some crash-damaged suits hanging on it to see how they hold up.

Homecoming plans for me are back in flux....it looks like Diablomichael will be able to get off
work for it, but that would mean heading up on the 4th, and trailering the bikes up since he's
still on the mend from a highside at the track.

It also means I need to run down to Oklahoma this Sunday to get our Dad's trailer for the trip.

I also have to send Steve an email and see if he still has room : )
