Just had to tell ya'll how much I love my new tires. I bought Pirelli Diablo Corsa's for my X1. What a difference they have made. Great handling and it just drops in on the corners like the bike is hardwired to my tiny brain. If you are in the market for tires I would tell you to get a set. As for wear I will post again towards the end of season to let anyone interested know what kind of mileage I get.

I tried a pair of corsa III's and loved them! They lasted about 2000 miles and started showing cords on the rear after 2 high speed runs to the bay and back. LA to SF. Right now I'm running corsa strada's. 2500 miles and very little wear. They corner really good. The main difference I feel while riding is during hard breaking. The rear will skid a bit. Nothing to complain about for a higher mileage tire. I was told to expect close to 10000 miles

I ran Metzlers before. they were a good tire lots of grip. Didnt last too long. Kinda went hard before they actually wore out. I've never seen a tire get this way and wanted to try something else.
