Six of us went up to New Roc Buell this past weekend to test ride some Buells (the Buell Demo truck was there). Although I FINALLY got to ride a Super TT (and reacquaint myself with the Firebolt), apparently the Dealer was all out of Messenger bags, and the Buell truck apparently doesn't carry any!

Loved riding the bikes, but five of my friends were very disappointed that they didn't get a Messenger bag (no worries for me... I already had one; but after seeing mine they all wanted one too). Sigh. Guess they'll just have to watch eBay and wait for them to show up there, I guess.

Apparently it is Laguna that weekend. Red headed step chil'en out here on the west coast

You are sitting right in the terriority that, before Buell started doing demos, I used to do my own.

Funniest story was when I went to Juneau, absconded with an S-1 on display in marketing and took it to Portland for the annual motorcycle show. . . that was 11 years ago.

I was made an honorary member of the Intel folks' riding club and started coming to the OR/WA area fairly regularly. I have a splendid set of pictures from some wonderful journeys on Mt. St. Helens long before any other Buells ever laid rubber on it . . used to head out to Ellensburg, sit on on the Haney's ranch and watch the sunset over Mt. Ranier and then head to Seattle and Queen Anne (or something like that) Hill and then back and just flit all over. Big dealer, and they were not impressive in the Sea-Tac ara at that time was a place called Lynnwood Cycle Barn or something. I also used to go to a place South of town, just off I-5, that sat in a strip mall.

If you get in a bind . . let me know . . I can do a demo you won't sonn forget.

: )

http://www.soundrider.com/sbnw/ an about link, They will have the Triumph, BMW, and Ducati dealer trucks there. I tried to get our regional demo truck there, but it is down at the races that weekend. It would be great to show up the competition. I know that if you get the chance to honestly put the bike through its paces... there really is no other choice : D
