Those negative comments on that website are hilarious! The fact that they kept the comments there for everyone to read says a lot about what the kid and his dad think about it.
I was a fat kid, btw... fatter than that kid was. |

Hey the Hunt isn't over Dave. Anytime you and Kandy want to come up and shoot record munks let me know. I have a couple guides (my dogs).lol They usually never run for the fence..... they go for the down spouts. Thats when I set the hunter up down say 10 whole feet and I go up on the roof with the garden hose. Ya have to be quick or they get away.lol

I shot a squirrel once . . but it was in the basement and the subject of a very old badweb tale we've long since decided to never repeat.
by the way . . . I still say I was in the right as the squirrel enter my property unlawfully. The law says "unlawful entry" it never mentions humans. . . I still can't believe my wife sided with the cops. . . . I know, I know . . we're done discussing this.  |

Huh. Had no idea that's the way hunting preserves worked. What a load of crap that is!
I'm not into hunting. Bow hunting, maaaybe, but hunting with rifles just seems totally unfair. I heard that here in Georgia they were trying to get spear hunting legalized... now THAT would be some real hunting. If you can take a sharp stick out in the woods and bring home a prize, you're officially a badass!

Yeah, that's what I'm talking about!! I had a good laugh over that one. I always thought that the guys that hunt with slingshots are pretty badass too. I've never owned a nice one, but I would have a hard time hitting a Mac Truck with it. |

Latest story says the pig was killed inside a 150 acre enclosure within the 2500 acre preserve. Also the pig is now down to 9ft instead of 12ft.
Starting to sound even less sporting and impressive now huh? |

PS
Now, I grew up in the meat business and have killed and butchered 1000s of hogs, cattle,sheep and even Buffalo so I have no problem whatsoever with the killing and eating of animals that were raised for that purpose.
I even high powered a loose Holstien/Angus cross steer once with my .243 and hauled it to the locker for butchering.
But,
I never called it "hunting"
I have slaughtered animals and I hunt,kill and eat wild animals. I know the difference(or at least the what the difference is to me) |
