Ive always liked its big brother. I cant remember what kind of power the daytona puts out, i imagine this bike will be somewhat close to it. |

That looks pretty sweet. But I'm soooo tired of underseat exhausts. It's hot down here as it is, plus I can't sling my soft saddlebags on the back. Still, I really liked my Daytona 955i and I'll bet that 675 triple is at least as much fun. |

I rode the speed triple last year for an extended demo. It was as if somebody took a buell and made it behave. Nice bike, just missed my "uummmph" of my Buell. |

Looks a lot nicer than the Speed Triple (or whatever it was called) I saw at a show last fall. That one look very cheaply put together, fasteners showing everywhere, just wasn't clean at all. How much? (Message edited by rkutzner on May 26, 2007) |

That is a sweet little bike. I was on the fence way back when between the XB and the larger than that Speed Triple. If Triumph could have done me the same deal on the triple that Buell did me on the XB, I would have chosen the Triumph instead. It was a difference between reliability and price and the Triumph is pretty damn reliable. I may have to go look at that Street Triple closer... |

Hate the headlights. But then again, I hate the headlights on my CityX. Bob |

I've owned two modern Triumphs, ridden the Speed Triple a few times now and got to take a Daytona 675 for a very "spirited" ride the last time the Triumph Demo truck visited the local dealer. I remember getting off the 675 and telling one of the salesmen at the dealer that if the Daytona had been a naked bike I'd be buying on the spot. I've read elsewhere that the Street Triple may have lower-spec brakes and suspension than the Daytona. If that's true that's a shame. The Daytona is a really sweet package. Mind, I still prefer my XB9SX. |
